Hill Library Where Multimedia Seminar Center at the D. H. Hill Library High-Performance Computing (HPC) is most often associated with research done in the sciences, but there are also use cases in the humanities that can benefit from access to HPC resources. Dr. Ted Underwood (School of Information Sciences/English, University of Illinois) and Dr. Paul Fyfe (English, North Carolina State University), both current fellows at the National Humanities Center, will talk about their work on text mining in large digital libraries and visual analytics in large newspaper corpora. Free and open to the public.
