Guest Speaker – Nick Gaski, Technical Consultant w/Kaleido

Kaleido is a ConsenSys company dedicated to the growth & adoption of enterprise blockchain to transform how we build economic, social, and political systems.

Prior to joining Kaleido, Nick was an offering manager with IBM Blockchain. His experience is helping shape this fast growing company. He will give an overview of the following:
– Distributed Databases vs Blockchain – Public vs Private chains
– “Mining” and Consensus – Smart Contracts – Ethereum Tools and Libraries – Applications of Blockchain

This will also kickoff off the Kaleido Hackathon, a week long challenge to use the Kaleido platform to create your own blockchain solution.
