Event Description:
The GLBT Center will host comic artist Sophie Labelle for a conversation about her experiences writing and drawing about transgender issues. Her popular internet comic, Assigned Male, introduces readers to Stephie, a transgender girl navigating life, and an ensemble of supportive family, friends and significant others. Join us for a Q&A and conversation about how Sophie developed her artistic style and and social justice lens for her work.
