Git is a fantastic tool that allows you, the programmer, to be in full control of the way your code’s history. Mastering these more advanced (but required in industry) features of git will allow you to collaborate effectively with your peers and utilize git to its fullest potential. The talk will cover branching, merging, cherry-picking, rebasing, and pull-requests (Github). Attendance at the first talk is not required as we know there may be those of your advanced programmers just looking for a refresher.
