Claus Stig Pedersen, the Head of Corporate Sustainability at Novozymes, comes to NC State to speak about Novozymes Business & Sustainability Leadership Journey.

Novozymes is a biotechnology company and the world’s largest manufacturer of biological solutions for industry. Being a responsible company, operating with respect for the environment, people and society has been part of Novozymes’ DNA throughout the company’s history and the company has benefited from its sustainability leadership in many ways. These include scientific innovation, employee motivation, attraction and retention, customer and investor recognition, goodwill from policymakers and NGOs, storytelling and branding. In recent years Novozymes has made sustainability its company purpose. In this seminar Novozymes sustainability journey, challenges and results will be presented and discussed.
